    PARROTT & CO. CORONET WARE NELL GWYN 8 3/4" SQUARE LUNCHEON PLATE C1921-59
    This is a wonderful plate by the Parrott & Co. from the Nell Gwyn series which measures 8 3/8" square. This plate, which is very good to excellent condition, is labeled "NELL GWYN" who was an actress in the 1600s and  one of the mistresses of King Charles II. The signatures on the front of plate '"Fred Terry" and "Julia Neilson" are the actors who played the part of Nell Gwyn and King Charles II in the Play "SWEET NELL OF OLD DRURY" in 1900. This plate makes a great display piece.
