    Description

    This is a rare covered butter or cheese dish by H K Tunstall England.  This square covered dish is covered with gold flowers, dots and colored flowers and people.  Manufactured circa 1933-1942 it measures 6 5/8" square and the cover is 2 1/2" tall.  This pattern is known as gold chintz and the Crinoline lady.  This is a rare pattern and piece.  This dish has some wear on the gold design which is consistent with age.  There are some minor chips on the bottom edge and a hairline crack on the bottom as seen in the picture.
